Why the name Phantom?
The idea behind the name Phantom came about when working at night spray painting and decorating an industrial unit for a well-known crisp manufacturer when the factory – with a strong stench of potato we might add – was closed to all factory workers while we spray painted the entire warehouse. Therefore it felt like we were phantoms of the night having not seen a single soul.

Our Specialist Painter and Decorator
All our painting and decorating projects, large and small, are managed by our Specialist Painter and Decorator, Jonathan, who has qualified as a City & Guilds painter and decorator in 1992 and further qualified as specialist decorator (NVQ 3) in 1993, as well as holding qualifications in first aid, health & safety, human resources and law. . Jonathan was Runner Up for the Crown Brolac Young Decorator of the Year 1995, at just 21 years old!
Our History
Phantom Painting and Decorating Contractors started life in another name, National Advanced Decorating Company in early 90s that was supported by the then Prince’s Youth Business Trust (PYBT) operating across Yorkshire.
