Reception – in the fully furnished living room, we moved all furniture and fittings to the centre of the room and covered up with protection. Due to a leak our Fulham painter repaired a small section of the ceiling and repainted in Dulux Natural Calico, in a matt emulsion paint.
Family Bathroom – our Fulham decorator applied the same Dulux Natural Calico throughout the bathroom but in an acrylic eggshell to prevent mildew growth and for easy cleaning.
En-suite bathroom we carried out extensive preparation to repair cracks to this lovely modern master bedroom en-suite and repainted in existing colour in an acrylic eggshell finish.
In the hallway and staircase to front door we prepared and repainted one wall in existing colour, including stair risers, because there were edge cracks and chips and scuff marks to the wall. We also repainted the large wall on the next flight of stairs due to signs of prior water damage.
Our Fulham decorating experts painted the front door too because it was in such a poor condition in severely weathered light blue. We advised the owner to apply an exterior stain for a better and hardwearing finish.
As professional Fulham painters and decorators we carried out decorating with utmost sensitivity to ensure colours marry up on application and to avoid splashing walls not to be painted and the wood floorcovering.
On arrival, our Fulham painter immediately noticed the front door was not particularly inviting nor was it an inspiration for new guests that have booked a serviced apartment in Fulham. This was quickly rectified by our Fulham decorator at little time and cost and now the Fulham serviced apartment makes a good impression.
The entrance hallway and staircase to the living room had similar fate as the front door. With it being a narrow high traffic entrance, it is to be expected to suffer from scuff marks, scratches and chips alike as well as the stair risers having significant cracks to the top edge. All of these were also rectified by our Fulham painters and this staircase looks good as new.
The living room had sustained some water damage, presumably a prior leak from the en-suite above, as well as the first-floor staircase, which our Fulham painters had successfully concealed with stain block. There were also large cracks appearing to sloping roof edge of the newly extended en-suite, which we skilfully repaired following a structural survey.
On the whole, the property looks very well maintained, from arrival, throughout the living areas while retaining its existing colour scheme and completion without disruption to any guests staying in this Fulham apartment.
