The project.
A new property buyer in Ealing, West London were looking to completely refresh the two-bedroom apartment prior to moving in. Phantom – Ealing Painters and Decorators were brought in to decorate the Master Bedroom, Second Bedroom, Kitchen, Living room and Hallway.
In addition to the apartment painting we treated the new MDF fitted furniture including wardrobe, dressing table and media unit.

Specification.
The painting and decorating colour scheme was rather straight forward. All walls were prepared, including removal of some fixtures and fittings from the previous owners.
After preparation, our Ealing Painter and Decorator applied Dulux Trade SuperMatt Emulsion to walls throughout this two-bedroom apartment in West London.
Particular attention was paid to the feature wall in the second bedroom which was in an olive green colour. The new owners did not like it so our Ealing painter reinstated the room to all white.
Following the bedrooms, the Ealing painter and decorator commenced work in living room, kitchen and hallway where there were signs of wear and tear with scuffs to the walls.
Having made good to all the walls, Ealing painters and decorators returned to skilfully paint the recently fitted bespoke wardrobe, dressing table and media unit. Essentially, our painters applied a high adhesion primer to the rather dusty MDF before applying three coats of Farrow and Ball Modern Eggshell.
The client sought to have these painted in white also so we recommended using Farrow and Ball All White 2005 in a Modern Eggshell finish which is highly recommended for all indoor furniture painting.

The Ealing client was looking to recreate a clean and fresh look and feel, while having a blank canvas to adorn over time by adding colour using pictures and soft furnishings.
The hand painted finish of the fitted furniture looks as good as if it was factory sprayed. And the Farrow and Ball All White 2005 oozes a rather distinctive hue of white to give just a subtle difference to the walls.
