The project.
Painters Decorators Vauxhall were instructed by London interior designers to create a painted feature wall in this two-bedroom two-bathroom luxury apartment in Nine Elms, London. The Legacy – a 19-storey skyscraper – at Embassy Gardens is designed by international interior designer Luis Bustamante and developed by EcoWorld Ballymore, overlooking the US Embassy London and ecological Embassy Gardens in Nine Elms, London
Creating feature walls and carrying out interior decorating in luxury properties required skill and experience to ensure an exceptional finish as well as leaving the Nine Elms luxury apartment clean for furniture installation or when the owners next visit so Phantom – Painters and Decorators Vauxhall were called in.
Specification.
We were once again commissioned by our regular client, a London interior design consultancy, for another luxury development, this time in the popular Embassy Gardens.
This was a relatively small but interesting project that nonetheless required exceptionally high professional standards, including cleanliness throughout.
Reception – in the open plan living room we applied Dulux Pure Brilliant White to walls following electrical reconfiguration.
Master Bedroom – we applied Dulux Polished Pebble to the headboard wall in time for bed installation and soft furnishings.
Bedroom Two – we applied Dulux Pure Brilliant White to walls prior to bedroom furniture install and artwork installations.
Our Painter Decorator Vauxhall carried out the interior painting and decorating skilfully to ensure clean sharp lines around other surfaces that were not to be painted including skirting boards, adjacent walls and ceiling.
The result.
When our Painter Decorator Vauxhall arrived at this ecological skyscraper apartment, we were immediately in awe of the breath-taking views and rather nervously ventured out onto the cantilever oblong balcony, looking back to the property. That was a rare experience, as most balconies are rectangular, clinging or wrapping the building.
Admittedly, the interior décor does look rather pale in contrast but the essence of this lovely Embassy Gardens apartment is its views. Having seen the interior design drawings, we could see that the owners sought to add colour and texture in their furniture and fittings, including pictures, ornaments etc to give that cosy home feel.
