- City & Guilds or NVQ 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent) and/or minimum five-years professional trade experience.
- Wallpaper hanging and commercial wallcovering installation experience an advantage.
- Experience in commercial & high specification painting and decorating.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to produce work to very high standards.
- Own tools, whites, brushes & rollers etc.
- Be safe, clean and tidy at all times.
- Good work ethic, reliable and trustworthy.
- Willing to travel around London, Surrey
- Checkable references upon request.

While most of our painting and decorating projects are in London we are starting to carry out projects outside London, particularly neighbouring counties. Therefore we encourage painters and decorators outside London to contact us.
I am not qualified. Is it essential that all painters and decorators are qualified in painting and decorating?
No. This is because we have a diverse range of painting and decorating projects. Everyone will be allocated only painting and decorating projects and tasks that they are trained or experienced in doing.
I do not have the right to work in the UK. Can I still apply and work with Phantom Painters and Decorators?
Unfortunately, due to UK immigration regulations we are only allowed to employ those with the right to work in the UK and documentary evidence or verification must be provided before we can give you painting and decorating work.
