Pimlico Painters and Decorators improve rental prospect for Pimlico landlord.
Frequently our Pimlico Decorators do tenancy painting and decorating for landlords, including studios, flats and houses. This Pimlico painting and decorating project was no different.. Particularly, where a fast turnaround is required, without compromise to our professional standards.
Our Pimlico Painters and Decorators carried out extensive preparation to mainly the walls where flaking paint and mould and mildew was evident. However, there was considerable mildew in the en-suite bathroom because it had no windows and relied heavily on the extractor fan, to ventilate, but had malfunctioned.
Our Pimlico Painters and Decorators applied mould sealer and stain block to all bathroom walls and ceilings. Consequently this successfully curbed the mildew and stains. But in the second bedroom, where there was evidence of prior water ingress caused by the cracked and overflowing external iron downpipe, the mould was a little more stubborn. Our Pimlico Painters and Decorators then applied the vinyl matt emulsion and eggshell skilfully to ensure clean sharp lines around surfaces that were not to be painted including wood floor.
When our Pimlico painter first arrived at this quirky Pimlico apartment it was rather tired and unloved. Although, it was clear that this interesting Pimlico flat was in need of some care and attention before the next tenants moved in.
Evidently, we successfully completed this project in good time for the landlord and tenant. However, the mould treatment was in itself challenging where it would not respond to mould sealer. Nonetheless we persevered and applied further coats of mould sealer.
Additionally, our Pimlico Painter could not resist taking photos. Particularly some interesting and quirky features in the property that were highlighted by our Pimlico painting and decorating skills giving this Pimlico flat a new lease of life to be enjoyed by new tenants.
