The project.
Phantom – Marlow Painters and Decorators were brought in by a joinery company to assist with the exterior painting and timber window restoration. At this spectacular four-star Macdonald Compleat Angler hotel we restored all timber windows to a high standard.
Exterior timber window restoration with tubular scaffolding and mobile access towers require qualified Marlow exterior painters. In particular, it was necessary for our licenced Marlow exterior painting and decorating supervisor to be on site. And considering the poor condition of the Marlow hotel exterior this project demanded experienced Marlow painters with methodical approach to preparation. It is for this reason Phantom – Marlow exterior painters and decorators were drafted in.

As Marlow exterior painters and decorators, we are experts in carrying out exterior painting and decorating. This Marlow hotel exterior painting was no exception. Particularly with 30-years experience, we were not fazed by the cracked painted windows and the considerable preparation required to bring the Marlow hotel exterior to good standard.
The French windows and doors, especially those overlooking the River Thames, were all exposed to the elements. In particular, these doors and windows require frequent paint protection to preserve the wood and provide longevity and avert more costly window frame replacement.
We thoroughly prepared, undercoated and applied Sandtex Pure Brilliant White Exterior Gloss to the wood window frames. While we painted all masonry render with Sandtex masonry paint. The iron balustrades was painted Black exterior gloss. Beautifully, each of the wood slat balcony decking were treated with exterior stain by our Marlow exterior painters.

High standard by Marlow Exterior Painters and Decorators
When our Marlow exterior Painter and Decorator arrived, the joiner’s own exterior painter had already started. However, we were the only qualified Marlow exterior decorators on site. The preparation was not impressive. For this reason, we took over the supervision of this project to deliver a much higher standard, safely.
Our Marlow exterior painters carried out thorough preparation to ensure that the window frames appear almost new. Especially after we applied the Pure Brilliant White high gloss finish.
